Her work examines the intersections of Cherokee identity, language, and the contemporary Indigenous experience in America. Raelee's writing has been published by the Fork Apple Press, the College Hill Independent, and is featured on the NDN Girls Book Club website. Her work has been supported by the Oklahoma Fashion Alliance, McCormack Writing Center, Four Mothers Collective, and Verses Literacy & Arts Event. She has forthcoming work in Letters as Characters by Letter Books imprint and the Heart of Our Nations Anthology.


She is currently based in Milwaukee and occasionally writes under the nom de plume Kilo.
